“It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” Those words are recorded in several scriptures from the Bible and serve in an analogy from Jesus that wealth and power do not grant an individual access to “the kingdom of Heaven.” Instead, it is humility and helping those less fortunate (among other things) that might allow someone to ascend after death.
Unfortunately, these leaders of popular churches seem to have not received that memo and through their “God’s word” have amassed insane amounts of wealth. Will that help them get into Heaven? Only time will tell.
Here are the wealthiest preachers and their paychecks.
